Poking around, it seems that you can get some but not all of the books in the series. They have Kraus’s Theology of the Psalms, but not his commentary. They have Wolff and Kohl on Haggai, but no Wildberger on Isaiah. And, sorry John, no Westermann.
Kudos to Fortress for making some of these available in a digital format. Here’s hoping they complete the series.
That said, how good would a commentary on a Kindle be? The search function would be nice, as well as the ability to highlight passages and write notes. However, the screen isn’t big enough nor the interface fast enough to make skipping around in a commentary very efficient. However, with the release of the Kindle reader app for the iPhone, I am hopeful that they will also release a reader application for the computer. I would much rather have an un-DRMed PDF file (or better yet, a choice of formats), but at minimum we need an app for the desktop that will let you see two pages at once, type notes with a real keyboard, etc.
